Can you see the sea on the horizon beyond the marshes? “Blakeney Marshes” was inspired by a place where I sometimes sit looking out to sea, hearing the cry of the birds as they swoop over the marshes .

I painted this with bold impressionist brush strokes and plenty of thick, luscious paint!
