“Country Lane - Derbyshire” is a small painting in a deep cradled board frame.

It measures 7” x 5” x1.5” (17.5 x 12.5 x 4 cm) and would look equally good on the wall or stood on a shelf.

I have painted it with artist quality oil paints being rather generous with the paints .

Early summer brings an explosion of different greens, especially when it rains. Which it seems to do a lot in Derbyshire. I look at the landscape and think “yes, I’ll paint one more green painting”.
