There's nothing more invigorating than a bright day when the earth is covered in snow.
This is a Derbyshire footpath In January. I couldn’t get there myself to see the snow but my son Tom took a photo so I could create this picture.
I painted this with generous impasto brushstrokes and plenty of oil paint continuing the painting onto the sides so although unframed it is ready to hang.
