Country Lane in Spring (2026)

As I walked out one late afternoon the air was full of the heavy scent of late spring, a few birds, a few insects but best of all there was no one else around.

This is a pastel drawing on velour surface Pastelmat card. This surface has powerful pigment absorption for vibrant colour which remains stable without fixative.
