RUTLAND VINEYARD , Brighter #3

I look at this painting and remember a great day out! This is the third in the series.

Out for a painting trip with chums. You just can't predict the weather. It rained, persistently, so everything was wet. I tried to use watercolour and it just puddled on the paper making a lovely pattern but not what I intended. I gave up and took photos to work on in the studio.
Of course as soon as we packed up to go home there was a glimmer of sun on the horizon.

This painting depicts a bit more sunshine.
