This is one of a series of paintings inspired by the Derbyshire countryside. I spent many hours tramping footpaths as a child, mostly not appreciating what I saw, and now I can’t get out of the habit but I do appreciate the beautiful countryside. I particularly enjoyed the colours of the clouds in this sky.
