Small Fires #19

This winter painting is one of a series of bonfire paintings inspired by photos my son took of a fire in his garden when he burnt a season’s worth of dead branches.

This is an original oil painting on prepared board.

Size: 7" x 5” (17.5 × 12.5 cm) and is unframed, but would fit into a readily available oto frame, as plain or as fancy as you like. Or prop it on a shelf unframed.

I think there's something quite satisfying about a small oil painting.

They can brighten up a small corner, make beautiful gifts and they are a wonderful way of getting into collecting original art.
